Matt "President and CEO"
Matthew (Matt) A. Saline is the entrepreneur behind Mambo Sprouts–America’s leading natural and organic marketing company. In April 1996, during a visit to a local natural foods store, Saline noticed that there were no in-store promotional programs geared toward the natural and/or organic consumer. Approximately one year later, the lawyer-turned-marketing-guru launched Mambo Sprouts with the concept of applying traditional mass-market product and retail promotional programs to the growing natural and organic market. Saline now manages the large-scale marketing and publishing operation that creates and distributes Mambo Sprouts’ quarterly online and offline newsletters, client-branded newsletters and in-store promotional programs. He also runs the company’s research arm that turns information gleaned from the promotional programs and MamboTrack, an online survey engine, into actionable consumer insight. And of course, as the company leader, he is also its top salesperson. Saline calls Philadelphia home.
Matt "Vice President"
Matt (AKA: Campbell, Cam) joined the Mambo crew in February 2003. He was brought on board to assist in the Retail Program. Campbell was named Vice President in 2008, and has his hands full in every aspect of the company. Pre Mambo, Matthew worked in market research where he was responsible for developing and analyzing product usage, packaging consumption, concept shelf impression tests, focus groups and surveys for clients such as Campbell’s Soup, PepsiCo.
Matthew is an active member of the Sierra Club, a die hard four for four Philadelphia sports fan, and in his spare time he enjoys history, archaeology, playing golf, softball and spending time with his beautiful wife and daughter.
Christine “Mambo’s Celebrity Guru”
Christine has worked at Mambo pretty much her whole life-circa 2004. If you’ve read an article, used a coupon or received a mailer from Mambo, Chirsitne probably had her hands in it. Her superpower is being able to tell you what any celebrity is doing at any given time-especially if it is environmentally friendly. In her spare time you can find Christine singing karaoke, hanging with her fantastically tall 2 year old (Love Bug), and just plain being a hip Mom.
TL “Mambo’s Gift Giver”
TL has been designing for Mambo since 2005. You can find her work all over Mambo projects from coupons, to covers, to the Mambo Sprouts sign. If you need the perfect gift - especially an unusual gift - TL is your girl. When she’s not at Mambo, she can be found picking fruit in the farmlands of South Jersey, collecting more than her fair share of sea glass along the Jersey shoreline or taming the “beast” known as Omelet (her dog). If she could have any superpower it would be the ability to fly…it would make searching for all that sea glass and fruit a lot easier!
JoAnn “Mambo’s Organized Momma"
JoAnn arrived at Mambo in 2005. Her organization skills have helped Mambo become the company it is today. When she is Mambo free you can find her singing U2 songs to her dog Bono, cheering on her local sports teams (Go Flyers!) and running after her double trouble twins. To add to JoAnn’s superpower of being organized, she would also like to have the power of invisibility which will allow her to have a second superpower “Super Spy”. We might just have to change her name to Mambo’s Organized Super Spy Momma.
Maria “Mambo’s Recycler”
Maria joined Mambo in 2007. Since she has been at Mambo there has been a flood, a hurrcaine, a bank robbery and a earthquake. Don’t worry…she did not cause any of them. If she could have any superpower she would love to teleport. One day she hope she can. She can often be found telling people how to recycle properly, getting Chirstine’s opinion on an e-mail she needs to send out or walking her awesome dog Sonny. Maria loves helping people live the green life and reminding people to always wear sunscreen.
