There is proposed legislation to ban polyethene plastic bags from San Francisco grocery and pharmacies. The decision will be made on Tuesday April 30th. The legislation proposes banning the current plastic bags and replacing them with a new environmentally friendly choice of corn-based biodegradable plastic bags.
