Lundberg Family Farms products brings the finest rice and pasta products on the market. I especially like the brown rice/wild rice medley. It makes the best rice salad I have ever tasted. One thing is misleading in this article.
” USDA certified organic foods are produced without antibiotics, hormones, pesticides, irradiation, or bioengineering…”
Organic foods are not pesticide-free, but they are produced without synthetic pesticides, using “organic” pesticides instead. Whether or not these pesticides are a greener choice is contested. I do look for organic foods when I shop, but I often prefer to buy local products at farms and farmers’ market, whether or not they claim to be organic.

I am such a big fan of arrowheadmills buttermilk pancake mix!!! The mix is easy and fool proof, these pancakes are always a big hit with my family.. I make them either plain or with blueberries…its just always delicious.

I been wanting to get back to “stove-top” oatmeal for a while now. No time like the present. this recipe seems a lot quicker than I’m used to…Have I been cooking it wrong or is this using the 1 minute kind? Either way, I’m going to give it a try. I LOVE oatmeal!

Where does GMO fit in? Does “organic” or “100% organic” mean we can be sure of NO GMO ingredients in the product??
