YOU HAVE NOT YET WON

TO ENTER: Contest begins 9:00:01 AM EDT 4/21/08 and ends on 5:59:59 PM EDT 6/6/08. To enter online, visit www.mambosprouts.com and follow the online entry instructions. To enter by mail, on a plain 3” x 5” card, include your full name, street address, city, state, zip code, phone number and date of birth and attach that to a separate 8 ½” x 11” piece of paper which includes an original recipe, in one of the following five categories, using one or more of any products featured in the Mambo Sprouts Spring issue: Bake it Organic; Salt of the Earth; Asian Exotic; or Chocolate Craze. In order to enter the Bake it Organic category, you must use one or more of the Organic Valley Butter, Eggs, Cream, Milk or Cream Cheese in your recipe. In order to enter the Salt of the Earth Category, you must use one or more of Jane’s Krazy Mixed-Up Seasonings in your recipe. In order to enter the Asian Exotic Category, you must use any San-J Tamari, Cooking Sauce or Salad Dressing in your recipe.  In order to enter the Chocolate Craze Category, you must use any Equal Exchange Fairly Traded Chocolate Bar or Baking Cocoa in your recipe. You must also include the name of your recipe and the category(s) for which you are entering.  Then mail your complete entry in a hand addressed stamped envelope, to: 2008 Mambolicious Recipe Cook-Off, C/o Mambo Sprouts Marketing, PO Box 129, Collingswood, NJ 08108.  All online entries must be received by 5:59:59 PM EDT 6/6/08. Mail in entries must be postmarked by 6/6/08 and received by 6/13/08. Mail-in entries postmarked/received after these dates will not be entered.  Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your on-line service will apply, if entering online. You may enter in more than one category, depending on which products you use in your recipe. Enter as often as you wish, but each entry must be different. Mechanically reproduced mail in entries are void.  All entries become the property of Sponsor.  Entries will not be returned and Sponsor will not acknowledge receipt of entries.

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”):  Bake it Organic Category Grand Prize (1): A year’s supply of Organic Valley Products (one product per month) (ARV $364).  Salt of the Earth Category Grand Prize (1): A year’s supply of Jane’s Krazy Mixed-Up Salt (one product per month) (ARV $15.48); First Prize (1): A six month supply of Jane’s Krazy Mixed-Up Salt (ARV $7.74).  Asian Exotic Category Grand Prize (1): $500 gift certificate to winner’s favorite natural foods store plus a year’s supply of San-J products (one product per month) (ARV $550); First Prize (1): $250 gift certificate to winner’s favorite natural foods store plus a year’s supply of San-J products (one product per month) (ARV $300).  Chocolate Craze Category Grand Prize (1): A year’s supply of Equal Exchange chocolate (12 cases) (ARV $500); First Prize (1): A six month supply of Equal Exchange chocolate (6 cases) (ARV $250). 

FINALIST JUDGING: Five Finalists per each of the categories will be determined, based on the following judging criteria: Appropriate use of eligible product(s) (30%); Appetite Appeal (30%); Originality/Creativity (20%); and Nutritional Value (20%). Recipes that are not complete are not eligible. Finalists will be judged by a panel of judges selected by Sponsor, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this contest.  In the event of a tie, tied entries will be re-judged based solely on Appetite Appeal. By entering, you understand and agree that your entry may be posted online for consumer voting.
 
ONLINE VOTING FOR PRIZE WINNERS: The five Finalists’ entries per category will be posted online at www.mambosprouts.com from June 27, 2008 through July 11, 2008 and consumers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite Finalist entries per category, to determine the Grand Prize winner in each category and the First Prize winner in each category, except the Bake it Organic category.  Limit one vote per category per person/e-mail address. Voters are encouraged to judge the entries based on the criteria listed above. One Grand Prize winner per category will be determined according to the highest number of visitor votes per category.  In the event of a tie vote in any category, Sponsor will make the final determination of the Grand Prize winner in that category. One First Prize winner per category, except the Bake it Organic category will be determined according to the second highest number of visitor votes per category.  If, for any reason, the online voting portion of the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the online voting, then the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel the online voting and the Grand Prize winner per category and First Prize winner per category, except the Bake it Organic category will be determined by Sponsor’s designated judges, based on the same criteria listed above. 

WINNER NOTIFICATIONS: All prizes will be awarded, provided a sufficient number of eligible entries are received per category. Winners will be notified by mail on or about August 8, 2008. Prizes are not transferable; no substitutions are allowed except by the sponsor who reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable. Grand Prize winners may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, authenticity, liability/publicity release (where legal) and assignment of rights within 10 days of notification attempt or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner determined.  All First Prize winners may need to execute an address verification form and assignment of rights within 10 days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner determined.  Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and alternate determination.  Taxes, if any, related to the prizes are the responsibility of the individual winners. No responsibility or liability is assumed for damages, losses or injury resulting from acceptance or use of any prize. Entrants/Winners/Finalists acknowledge and agree that their entries become the property of Mambo Sprouts Marketing, which thereby has the right to edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, publish, promote (on the website for online voting and for any other means) and otherwise use entries in any way it sees fit. 

GENERAL RULES: Entries must be entrant’s own original work, have not won a previous prize or award and have not been previously published, must not infringe on any third-party rights and must be deemed suitable by Sponsor. Judges may disqualify previously published recipes or those that have won previous awards or competitions. By participating in this contest, entrants and winners release Sponsor and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, agents, employees, advertising agencies, and all others associated with the development and execution of the contest, from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from the contest and/or acceptance or use of prize, including, without limitation, liability for personal injury, damages or loss. Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the contest or website; violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible or postage due mail in entries or for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this contest which may limit the ability to participate or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this contest. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the online portion of the contest if it becomes technically corrupted, and judge eligible online entries received prior to cancellation and all eligible mail in entries received.  Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Winners and Finalists permit Sponsor and its agencies to use the winners'/Finalists’ names, likenesses and recipes for promotional, website and advertising/marketing purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.  No information regarding entries or judging will be disclosed.

ELIGIBILITY: The contest is open to residents of the U.S. (not including Puerto Rico), 18 years of age or older as of date of entry, except employees and their families of Mambo Sprouts Marketing, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, public relations agencies and Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. This contest is void in Puerto Rico and wherever prohibited and subject to all federal, state and local laws.
