GO MAMBO! CALIFORNIA FINAL WEEK!
Friday, June 27th, 2008
It’s our final week, and we’re closing the last leg of the West Coast tour back in the City of Angels. We LOHAS-ed throughout the city, from Malibu to Hollywood, then continued the week with in-store demos at Ralph’s and Whole Foods. Our target demographic was well reached as we encountered many moms praising the Mambo bags. “I am so excited you’re here! I am always looking for healthy alternatives to give to my children for their school lunches! This is perfect!” We Mambo-ed our way over to Westwood, where we reached out to UCLA college students who were searching for some healthy snacks to feed their hungry bellies and fuel their brains as they prepared for the dreaded “all-nighter.” Then it was back to the luxurious Beverly Hills where consumers were craving those infamous Mambo Sprouts coupon booklets. Needless to say, these health conscious, money-savvy consumers were ecstatic over their Mambo bags.
As we wrap up our final week of the tour at the trendy 3rd Street Whole Foods, we reflect on our Mambo journey throughout California, from San Francisco all the way down to San Diego. We had an incredible time educating consumers and handing out wonderful natural products, which we ourselves have fallen in love with. It’s now time to pass the baton to our Mambo family in the Northwest. Don’t go anywhere, because we’ll have more tour blogs and photos up for you to enjoy this summer! Keep your eyes posted and your bellies ready, because Mambo may be coming to your town soon!
Hello San Francisco! This week we made our way through the ‘City by the Bay.’ We began with LOHAS stops at gyms and other hot spots, then headed up to the North Beach Festival to enjoy some good food and orchestra while Mambo-ing with the locals! After that, it was off to the Fisherman’s Wharf where we spread some Mambo love to San Franciscans and tourists from all over the world. We traveled across the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges for Whole Foods demos in San Rafael, Berkeley and Oakland, and then ended our week with Whole Foods demos back in the city.
It’s week four, and Northern California here we are! We kicked off our week at the Harmony Music Festival in Santa Rosa, Ca. While Damian Marley rocked the crowd with Exodus and George Clinton got funky, Go Mambo was one nation under the groove! As the temperatures soared, the festival goers gave us peace and love while we gave them healthy products and snacks to feed their spiritual bellies. After Harmony, we made our way through wine country to give the Whole Foods-shopping wine makers a tasting…Go Mambo style! Now we’re headed across the Golden Gate bridge to give the locals some Mambo treats. See you in Frisco!
This week we started off in LA with demos in Redondo Beach and Torrance as we made our way down to sunny San Diego! Our first LOHAS stop was at the Alternative Happy Hour where we received complimentary massages and acupuncture while listening to African drum beats. When we arrived in the Hillcrest area, we saw many runners, friends and families preparing for the Rock n Roll Marathon on Sunday morning. You could feel the excitement in the air! At the crack of dawn the Go Mambo crew was out on the course cheering on the runners and handing out Go Mambo bags for all the spectators! It was truly an inspirational event, and we were honored to be a part of it. We finished off our week at local Whole Foods in the San Diego area as we prepared to head back up North.
