Go Mambo! Pacific Northwest Week 2
Thursday, July 31st, 2008
Hello Seattle! It’s been a wonderful, sunny Washington week for us as we Mambo’d around Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond and Kirkland. We visited some wonderful PCC and Whole Foods Markets, as well as the Seafair Torchlight Run and parade in downtown Seattle. Thousands of people could be seen lining the streets of the parade route. The Mambo bags made for a perfect snack pack during the festivities. Just before heading out of town on Sunday, we stopped in at the Bellevue Art Museum Festival. What a festival! Thousands of families and friends gathered to see what the artists had on display…the Mambo bags were a hit! Our next week begins and ends in Portland with a trip to Bend in the middle to visit Munch and Music as well as many other local Bend attractions.
We had a successful tour kick-off here in the Northwest! We were welcomed with beautiful sunny weather and smiling faces! We set sail in Portland, OR on Thursday and from there headed out to the Gorge Games in windy Hood River. We brought organic sunscreen and tasty snacks to all athletes at the Games, as well as all those who stopped in to watch the action. It’s cherry season in the Gorge, so we made sure to stop in at the Hood River Farmers Market to taste one of the regions highlighted delights, and bring Go Mambo! bags to all of the market goers. We are resting here in Portland and will soon be on our way to Seattle this Wednesday for the Seafair Torchlight Parade and much more! Tune in again next Monday to hear all about our adventures!
The Go Mambo! California tour has come to an end but our van is making it’s way up the west coast to the Pacific Northwest region. The second leg of our 2008 tours kicks off on July 17 and will travel through Oregon and Washington handing out free samples and information on your favorite natural and organic products. Be sure to check out the schedule on this page to see if we’ll be coming to your neighborhood!
