If you are looking for a new favorite cold salad to bring to your next outdoor BBQ, this is it. A delicious new take on a cold salad, this one will have your company asking for the recipe. The rice, apples and cranberries come together to create a delicious flavor that everyone will love.


  • ¾ cup (6oz) low fat orange yogurt
  • ½ cup reduced fat mayonnaise
  • 3 cups cooked RiceSelect Texmati® Brown Rice
  • 2 medium apples, diced
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • ¾ cups coarsely chopped pecans, toasted
  • ¾ cup dried cranberries


  1. Combine yogurt and mayonnaise in large mixing bowl.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.
  3. Serve immediately or chill before serving.
