Calling all fried egg lovers, turn your savory pupusa into a full meal with a runny, fried egg.


  • 1 of your favorite Tres Latin Foods pupusas
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons cooking oil, divided
  • salt and pepper


  1. Heat 1 tsp oil over medium heat
  2. Cook pupusa according to directions on the package.
  3. Remove pupusa from pan, adding the second teaspoon of oil
  4. Crack egg into pan sprinkle with salt and pepper
  5. Cook for 1 minute, then flip and cook for 1 more minute (yoke should be runny and spill out over pupusa)
  6. Remove the egg from the pan and place it on top of your pupusa, enjoy immediately
