Greek Yogurt Delight Sauce With Toasted Pita
Recipe submitted by Maria P. of Jackson Heights, NY, for the Mambolicious Recipe Contest 2009.
Ingredients:
- 12 oz. Brown Cow Cream Top Plain
- 6 oz. sour cream
- 1 cucumber, shredded, seeds removed
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tsp. parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp. mint, chopped
- 1 tsp. dill, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Pita bread, toasted
- Olive oil (for brushing on pita)
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients for sauce , mix well, cover and refrigerate.
- Brush olive oil over pita bread and toast in a 375 F oven for about ten minutes.
- Slice into triangles and serve with sauce.
