Crispy Cinnamon-Almond French Toast

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup organic skim milk
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup lightly crushed organic cornflakes
- 8 slices Vermont Bread® Cinnamon Swirl Bread
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Directions:
- Whisk together first 6 ingredients.
- Dip bread slices in milk and egg, then coat them with cornflakes.
- Place bread on baking sheet, drizzle with butter, and bake at 450° F until nicely browned.
