Oregon Chai Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:
Cookies:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. Oregon Chai® Concentrate
- 1/2 cup oat bran flour
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Frosting:
- 1 – 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 2 Tbsp. Oregon Chai® Concentrate
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine butter, granulated sugar, egg and 1 Tbsp. Oregon Chai® concentrate. Beat until creamy.
- Add flour and baking powder and beat until well blended.
- Divide the dough into two pieces, cover and refrigerate until firm (2 – 3 hours or overnight.)
- Preheat oven to 400° F.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutter.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 6 – 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool completely.
- Make frosting by blending powdered sugar, butter and 2 Tbsp. Oregon Chai concentrate.
- Beat, adding more Oregon Chai® concentrate until desired consistency.
- Drizzle frosting on cooled cookies.
