Grilled Spice Crusted Steak
Ingredients:
Herbed Lemon Butter:
- ½ stick butter, softened
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- ¼ tsp. granulated garlic
Spice Crust:
- ¼ cup ground black pepper
- 1½ tsp. ground white pepper
- ½ tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp. ground coriander
- ¼ cup. Florida Crystals® Certified Organic Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. granulated garlic
- 4 sirloin or tenderloin steaks, or 1 flank steak
Directions:
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, parsley, lemon juice and garlic. Roll in plastic wrap into a log shape. Refrigerate until firm.
- In a small bowl mix together the black pepper, white pepper, red pepper flakes, coriander, Florida Crystals® Certified Organic Sugar, salt and granulated garlic.
- Rub this spice mixture onto both sides of each steak. Shake off excess rub.
- Place steaks on hot grill and cook for 2 minutes. Turn and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Transfer steak to a cooler section of the grill and continue to cook until desired doneness. Serve each steak with a slice of Herbed Lemon Butter.
