Pasta Di Mare
Ingredients:
- 6 oz. dry pasta linguine
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 3/4 oz. fillet of anchovies, cut into pieces
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
- 1 can (4 1/4 oz) Bela-Olhao® Sardines in Tomato Sauce (or you can substitute with your favorite variety)
- 3/4 cup clam juice
- 3 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. minced onions
- 2 oz. chardonnay wine
Directions:
- Cook pasta linguine until al dente according to package.
- In a sauce pan, saute on low heat Bela-Olhao® Sardines, garlic, anchovies and onions in EVOO until the onions become wilted.
- Add 2 oz. chardonnay wine. Stir and simmer for 1 minute.
- Add tomato paste and clam juice and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens.
- In a serving bowl, gently toss the al dente pasta and finished Di Mare sauce.
