Russian Tea Cakes

Prep Time: 8 hours
Cook Time: 18-20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup soft butter
- 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. Vanilla
- 2 1/4 cup sifted flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts (or pecans)
Directions:
- Mix together butter, sugar and vanilla until creamy.
- Add in flour and nuts. Mix well and chill over night.
- Roll dough into 1″ balls and place on non-greased baking sheet. (Cookies do not spread so they can be placed close together.)
- Bake at 325 for 18-20 minutes until set, but not brown. While still warm, roll cookies into powdered sugar. Cool. Roll again.
