New England Maple Bacon Cheddar Burger

Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. ground beef, turkey or meat substitute
- 1 tsp. Jane’s Krazy Mixed Up Salt
- 1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
- 9-10 slices thick cut bacon or veggie bacon
- 8 oz. shredded Vermont cheddar cheese
- 8 hamburger buns
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
Directions:
- Fry bacon until crisp; crumble.
- Combine beef, turkey or meat substitute, salt, pepper and crumbled bacon. Shape into 8 patties.
- In a small bowl, microwave butter until melted.
- Add maple syrup and stir until well blended.
- Brush mixture onto inside of buns.
- Grill or broil burgers for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese during last few minutes of cooking.
- Grill buns for 2 or 3 minutes, until brown and crispy.
- Serve & enjoy!
