Cold Spicy Sesame Noodles
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. soba or udon noodles, cooked and drained
- 2 medium carrots, sliced julienne, steamed for 2 minutes
- 3 scallions, sliced diagonally
Dressing:
- 1/4 cup sesame tahini
- 1/2 cup Honest Tea® Assam Black Tea
- 3 Tbsp. tamari sauce
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2 Tbsp. sesame oil, to taste
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp. brown rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. umeboshi (plum) vinegar
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
Directions:
- In a large bowl, place cooked noodles, carrots and scallions.
- In a small bowl, combine tamari, tea, cayenne pepper, sesame oil, maple syrup, vinegars and garlic.
- Pour dressing over noodle mixture, toss to coat evenly.
